The Lone Oak - Pinot Noir

The Lone Oak Tree Series

The varietal series of the Winery is named after the famous tree that stood at the center of the four kibbutzim which were established in Gush Etzion before the War of Independence. Until the return of Jewish communities to the area, those who looked from afar with longing at Gush Etzion, would see the oak tree. Upon returning to the place, this “Lone Oak Tree” became the symbol of the renewal of the communities of Gush Etzion.

Varietal: Pinot Noir. Matured for 14 months in a French oak barrel.
Characteristics: Cherry red color, aroma of raspberries and berries, in the background there is an aroma of earth and spices. Medium-bodied, high tannin with pleasant acidity and the taste of ripe fruit.
