About the Wine:

This limited edition super premium red blend is a tribute to the first settlers who settled in the lands of Gush Etzion in 1927, purchased 1,500 dunams and established the settlement of Megiddo. Gush Etzion Winery was built on these lands. Seven years after the harvest, the wine continues to develop. New flavors emerge and balanced complexity continues to develop.

About the Vineyards:

The Merlot grape is dominant in this blend and it is harvested from a vineyard located in the Valley of Blessing. The vineyard is planted at an unusually high density of 110 vines per dunam, similar to the traditional vineyards of the region in the past, and the artificial irrigation in it is particularly low. Planting in this way allows each vine to have a root space and the vineyard receives most of the water it needs naturally. The vines that receive a relatively low amount of water provide particularly concentrated and aromatic grapes. The Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards are located in the sub-region of Nahal Fira.

Wine Characteristics:

A Bordeaux-style blend with a deep and dark color. The wine is complex and balanced with a long finish. In the dark purple aromas of tobacco, chocolate and cherry, together with a delicate bitterness, the wine creates a unique experience.
